Christine Reid has been a Clinical Social Worker for over 25 years, and Licensed since 2006. Since that time, she has worked in Residential, outpatient, and inpatient settings as therapist, case manager, and counselor with both individuals and groups.
Christine uses an eclectic approach to treatment- and is experienced in using Solution-focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Psychology, and Crisis Intervention theory in her work as therapist.
Christine approaches all of her clients with compassion, empathy, and a strong desire to empower them to take responsibility for their own happiness. Christine truly enjoys helping others to reach a balance in life while discovering life can be enjoyable.
Christine graduated from Mary Baldwin College with a B.A., majoring in Social Work, and received her Master’s in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Christine enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren, and likes to exercise and spend time outdoors.
